Simulation dynamique et spatialement explicite d'un paysage agricole bocager. Validation sur un petit bassin versant breton pour la période 1981-1998

چکیده
The modelling of land use and land cover changes is essential to the assessment of consequent environmental impacts. The L1 platform, a domain specific language has been used to model dynamically possible evolution of an agricultural patchy landscape through the simulation of both land useland cover and landscape features changes considering the multi-scaled natural forces and human decisions. The aim of the paper is to estimate L1 ability to produce such simulations. The outcomes show the plausibility of the simulations performed by the model for the 1981-1998 period on a small watershed in Brittany and highlight the influence of farm dynamics on landscape evolution. Modèle de prévision de crue pour l'amélioration de la gestion des réservoirs dans le bassin versant de la Lenne (Allemagne)
To avoid flooding of the cities on the lower reach of the River Lenne, the main tributary of the Ruhr River, an adaptive on-line flood forecasting model has been developed based on a distributed deterministic catchment model. With the help of this model optimal strategies for the operation of the Bigge Reservoir during floods can be derived. The model was implemented in March 1995. Modèle de pr...

For the sustainable management of water quantity and quality, a hydrological model that can simulate the hydro-environmental dynamics of river basins at arbitrary locations is valuable. There are several streamflow simulation models suitable for such a purpose. Yet the lack of data commonly poses a serious problem for their application. This is a serious problem encountered for the sustainable ...
متن کاملHydrological modelling of a drained grazing marsh under agricultural land use and the simulation of restoration management scenarios
The capability of the spatially-distributed, physically-based, rainfall-runoff modelling system, MIKE SHE, to simulate the hydrological behaviour of the natural and drained parts of the North Kent Grazing Marshes, UK, is investigated. The MIKE SHE code is applied to Bells Creek, a small, underdrained, agricultural catchment located within the marshes. The model is used to both provide insights ...
متن کاملRegional scale hydrology: II. Application of the VIC-2L model to the Weser River, Germany
This paper describes the application of a grid network version of the twolayer Variable Infiltration Capacity (VIC-2L) macroscale hydrological model. The VIC-2L model is implemented on a rotated grid, which is compatible with the weather forecast and climate model REMO (Regional Model), a joint project of the German Weather Service (DWD), GKSS Research Centre and the Max-PlanckInstitute for Met...
متن کاملOn the feasibility of using a lake water balance model to infer rainfall: an example from Lake Victoria
A water balance model of Lake Victoria that can be used to assess rainfall from lake level, is derived. The model utilizes satellite estimates of rainfall directly over the lake. The model, initially derived and calibrated for the period 1956-1978, is reformulated here in such a way that all water balance terms except evaporation can be calculated from a combination of catchment rainfall and le...
